Coal Creek Golf Course Celebrates the Men and Women of the Armed Forces this Labor Day Weekend
For the third consecutive year, Coal Creek Golf Course will once again partner with the PGA, USGA and Play Golf America to support our troops and their families.
Louisville, CO (Vocus/PRWEB ) August 24, 2009 -- In conjunction with the PGA, USGA and Play Golf America, Coal Creek Golf Course will support the third annual Patriot Golf Day this Labor Day weekend.
Golfers playing at Coal Creek Golf Course Friday, September 4th through Monday, September 7th, will be asked to donate an additional $1 with their green fee which will be donated to the Folds of Honor Foundation. Coal Creek Golf Course has proudly participated in the Patriot Golf Day program since 2007 in supporting the Folds of Honor Foundation which provides post secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving our great nation.
“We are happy to do our part to support our armed forces, and this program provides an excellent opportunity to do just that,” says Eric Jensen, Director of Golf at Coal Creek Golf Course, “I believe we’ve all learned that just a little bit can make a big difference, so it is our hope that the $1 from each of our golfers will go towards bettering the life of someone deserving.”

In "Top 5 Ways to Save Money On Gas" a leading web site finds ways to make people laugh amongst frustratingly high gas prices. Although most of the ideas are obviously unrealistic, the piece is still worth reading for its ability to generate smiles and laughter about our gas price situation.
